Exhibition Pieces!

These are some of the possible choices for my final pieces in my current project, a project reflecting on the transformative effect light has on a scene. These are the images only half scanned (as our uni scanners just aren't big enough) and prior to my altering the images on photoshop. The images I choose will be put up in my classes upcoming Exhibition:FollowMeMaidstone and presented as projections onto a wall. I've been a little loss in finding a direction and a meaning behind this project but I'm quite pleased with the works in terms of the aesthetics.
You can get more information about the Exhibition and see links to other students works at: www.followmemaidstone.com

Lightning Strikes!

Today I went to see the latest Marvel Film Thor and it was just as good as I hoped it'd be. Better Even, of all of the Marvel Films this was the most Superheroey, i greatly reccomend it and it got me in the mood to create these pictures:

Graphic Novel!

These are some images from work I was doing for a possible Graphic Novel these people I got in contact with were working on...this never worked out but it was a good oppurtunity for me to work in a different way than I usually do..the parameters for this work was black and white, "film noir" style. the story also involved semi- erotic scenes which isn't something i usually draw..

Otis Redding!

Heres some of the imagery from last years project to focus on the life of one randomly chosen person, my person was soul musician Otis
Redding and I told his story through a survivor of the plane crash that took his life, Ben Cauley:

I've lost the final version with text and the book didn't print out too good unfortunately, maybe one day I might redo the text and post it.
